As Kyle said, we haven't really been up to much. Just enjoying the pace of life in Penang and catching up with old friends.
Staying at home has many perks. 24-hour internet connection, showers and a fridge are a few I am very thankful to have after the last two months of living in a van.
Don't get me wrong, The Beast gave us many fun times. We've had mucho, mucho fun regaling my friends with tales from NZ...stories and jokes of all manners. From The Time We Drove Into A Raging River to The Doctor Who Asked Me If I Could Speak English to The Time We Beat The Beast With A Stick Due To Wet Wiring From The River Episode. In addition to all our experiences/lessons learnt/good times, the trip has given us an endless supply of conversation topics. Sweet as!

It never gets boring with Kyle being from the other side of the world. Even doing something as simple as laundry turns into an activity when you're showing him how we Malaysians do it, sans dryer. He couldn't believe how quickly our washing dried :o).
Kyle's also managed to learn how to eat rice with his fingers...after only two attempts! Bravo, I say! I'll take a picture of him the next time to put up here.
