Wellington... continued

So I'm back on my schedule (for now). That means no pictures today. But there will be more soon.

Today we both walked and drove around a but in Wellington. Its a really nice town (Ayu says it reminds her a lot of San Francisco). Very hilly, lots of small Victorian Style houses, the town is situated right on the Ocean, and everyone in the city (and their mother's it seems) are outside. Walking, running, rollerblading, skateboarding, and everthing between. We drove up this very steep hill this morning where I proceeded to take apart the Beast. I was trying to get to the bottom of this power inverter problem and had to remove a lot of dashboard. In the end, nature called, and I had to throw everything back together so that I could find a washroom (or toilet depending on where you are from - here they call it toilet - most Americans find this word crude).

After this we parked the Beast and walked around. We found a few Halal Malaysian restaurants, but due to time constraints it seems we're not going to be able to try them. Which is sad. Right now we're sitting in the Architecture and Design building on the campus of the University of Wellington charging our computers. Tomorrow we'll be boarding the ferry to the South Island at 11:00Am. The Beast is coming too. So the next update will come from there. Stay tuned (More pictures will be coming soon).
